4 Years of anguish.

This winter the kitty seemed defeated, never leaving one of the shelters set up for him.
Janine decided this might be the opportunity to catch him, finally. She was right. She put a trap at the entrance of the shelter and we had our cat!
GCCCP took it up to IHS Dorman, not knowing if it was too late to save him.
But their wonderful veterinarians came through again! They cut out a huge mass that had literally torn the skin away, put him back together and let him heal at the shelter. AMAZING!
Janine is so happy to have him back--still feral, still loved.

It’s important to note that if you leave a free-roaming cat at Dorman they “own” that cat. They will consider each case and determine the possibility of the cat’s quality of life in the environment it will be going back to.
Not all the sick or injured street cats I have brought in have been released back to me, but I am grateful to have qualified staff that will make the hard decisions.
