When I find spay\neuter appointments, I usually have caregivers or residents waiting for appointments, or I go knocking on doors on the east side of Garden City. I’ve trapped a lot of cats on 44th Street but it became obvious that that street wasn’t even close to being completed. I did about 15 cats at one mobile park. All I had to do was walk across the street going east or south and I found more caregivers and dozens more cats.
I met a kind-hearted man who owned property and had colonies on Adams, and property and a colony on 45th. Even though he lives in downtown Boise, he comes twice a day to feed his two colonies.
It is such an honor to help caregivers like Richard, and Garden City has so many of them!
