It is gratifying to see how many family members come back to help with their parents’ colonies.

When Hanna’s mother had to go to a care facility, Hanna came to her trailer every day to feed the colony that gathered under the ramp each day for the food they now needed to survive.

Assessing the situation, Hannah knew these cats would multiply quickly. She called GCCCP and asked for help.

Hannah thought she  was feeding the four cats she saw. We knew all about this area and know she was feeding many times more! And we are always glad to be invited back to this trailer park so we can continue to trap cats we missed a generation ago.

GCCCP likes to trap specific cats that are known to the caregiver, and at least a couple more.

This time we trapped five. Two were Calico, so we can guess there would have been 10 kittens, give or take, in a few months!

One was a little orange kitten, about 3 months old. Born under a trailer and yet friendly enough to be adopted out almost immediately!
