First rescued cat in 2026 had a microchip!

Ron lives in Garden City. A kitty living under his shed came out for the food and water he provided.

He called GCCCP and asked what more he should do for this little stray.

We had him tie up a trap and let the cat feed in it for a few days. Things went smoothly so we set the trap and were able to easily catch the kitty. We took it to Dorman, where they always scan for a microchip first thing. And there it was!

Owner was called. She lived in Boise and had been looking for this kitty for months. She was thrilled to come and get her baby!
