The next stop was across the street at a trailer park where we have four colony caregivers. When we took Jonathan's bag to his porch, we saw a cat that was friendly and didn't have a clipped ear. We called Jonathan and asked if we could take her to be spayed. He said she just showed up awhile ago. He was happy we asked. We were able to put her in a carrier and take her for a spay, and later returned.
Here's the question: If she is friendly and probably deserted, why don’t we rehome her? The answer is that we don’t know for sure. And our caregivers offer free- roaming cats a place to be fed no matter their situation.
