LUCRECIA

Well, we thought after trapping nine Siamese we had them all, but  nope. Lucrecia couldn’t believe it when she saw mamma and kitten playing in the area by the shed.

It's very difficult to trap in the middle of a cleaned-up colony, especially when they all look the same! Thank goodness for tipped ears.

I set a feeder trap (not ends), put food in it, and pointed a sports camera at it. The pictures it took told me when mamma and kitten came to feed, how many kittens there were and other details that would help in trapping. Eating in the trap made mom and kitten comfortable.

We caught kitten first, but it was a whole other day and location before we trapped mom and another of her siblings.

Lucrecia wanted to keep the kitten and we TNRed the adults. So, 11+ siamese at that location.
