This little story just kept unraveling. Mary told me she found this young cat in her wheel well when she returned to Caldwell from a stay at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City. That was shocking. She worked on finding the owner and would work on the cat’s adoption. GCCCP said we would be glad to get her spayed to help with the adoption process.
Soon after Mary posted this information on rescue sites someone called.
Danielle saw the posting on FB and reached out to Mary. She showed pictures to confirm that the cat was hers. Danielle is from Sand Hollow, 1.5 hours from Garden City!. This cat went missing two months ago and she thinks the cat jumped onto her truck bed and took a ride to Garden City because she works there often. Home again!
