Sweet Cindi

We did it! It was touch and go, but a few reminders of future kittens and Cindy realized there was only one thing to do, TRAP!

There were a couple of litters from spring and some big boys that were responsible for years of litters. And a little black kitten that came out of nowhere.

Another problem is Cindy has many more cats that we have already fixed, and they all eat around the same time.

It becomes overwhelming to the caregivers until they see GCCCP in action. When we all commit, it becomes fun and exciting.

We set up a drop trap in Cindy’s yard with a cell camera so I could watch who showed up, and when. All Cindy had to do was feed under the trap for a few days. When we saw the cats weren’t afraid to eat under it and we knew the eating order, it was time to trap.

The caregivers have an important role to play. They know their cats. Cindy was watching from the window above and texted us to let us know who was in the trap and whether we needed to drop the trap on the cats underneath. It is fun!

We trapped six cats in three  days. All of them were spayed\neutered, vaccinated and returned, except the little black kitten. He was adopted!
