Vickie on 44th

This summer I answered a call, and unfortunately found a sick little kitten that needed to be euthanized. Very young, maybe four weeks old.  

Assuming there was a litter and momma that needed help, we tried to talk to the people in the trailers around the area, but no one seemed to be home. I didn’t see signs of cats.

In December, Vicky called and inquired about having her indoor cat neutered. When I came for her cat, I realized this was the trailer where I found the sick kitten in the driveway!

When I returned her cat and opened her door to leave, I was greeted by a whole colony outside, excited for dinner. Finally, the missing cats!

We trapped and returned seven cats!

I think Vickie was disappointed that all the cats had to be returned to her trailer after altering them. The four kittens were too old to be rehomed, because they would not be easy to tame.
